Getting to grips with adobe premiere

2 Nov

In A2 I have had to make the transition from photoshop to using premiere elements in order to create my trailer. Therefore i created two trial trailers to allow me to explore the software and what is required.

I have been very indecisive as to which genre of film i wish to base my trailer upon, i have therefore done both a horror and a comedy trailer.

With the ‘Gina’ trailer, i didn’t want it to tell a story, i believe that a horror is supposed to be full of suspence so i wanted to convey this in my trailer by not giving too much away, in a bid to make the ‘audience’ want to go and see the film.

The music used is supposed to emphasise the genre of the trailer and also help to add a mysterious feel, i made the sound of the knock on the door louder to cause a shock factor.

have you decided on a genre yet?
have you thought of a tag line for your film?
